MINITOWER - The water-cooled chiller for labs
Quiet, with a very small footprint
This innovation is a water-cooled cooling unit for labs.
Due to its relatively small dimensions, it is easy to place inside a laboratory cabinet or similar confined spaces. As only very little heat is released into the environment, there is no need for ventilation at the installation site. The output of the device is sufficient to supply up to three workstations with rotary evaporators.
The chiller is operated from the front via the capacitive interface, which is easy to understand. All error messages are shown on the display and signalled by an acoustic alarm. A powerful magnetically coupled feed pump ensures good flow through the recooler. A maximum static pressure of up to 3.5 bar is possible.
The cooler operates very quietly. The tank for filling the coolant is also located at the front and can therefore be easily filled when installed. It has a screw cap that is easy to open. If there is too little coolant in the storage tank, this is indicated by a yellow status bar. The connections for the waterside are located on the top of the appliance at the rear. This appliance is also available for flow temperatures in the plus range.

As far as the supply side for the cooler is concerned, this can be a domestic water cooling circuit or the drinking water pipe. The appliance only draws as much water as is necessary to fulfil the cooling capacity. When the cooler is switched off, the water consumption is zero.
Everything works automatically and maintenance-free — perfect for laboratories.
Thanks to a special system, two side panels can be removed in a very short time, making everything easily accessible and thus greatly increasing the ease of servicing. This appliance is also available as a system separator without a compressor (water-water cooler), which enables an output of up to 9 kW to be achieved with the same dimensions.
