There are various ways in which waste heat and noise levels in the laboratory can be reduced. The waste heat and noise from chillers is annoying for the user and also not always sensible for energy reasons in the premises. This is why it is possible to split the individual components of our cooling units.
The production of customised special constructions provides you with better options that make your everyday life in the laboratory easier and even improve working conditions. More space, no waste heat generated by the cooling unit, and a better indoor climate within the laboratory are just a few of the advantages of a split system. It is even possible to relocate a cooling unit completely to the outdoor area, but cool it indoors.
Split solution 1
External condenser
Here, the condenser is removed from the air-cooled radiator and mounted on the outside. This means that the heat generated by the cooler is dissipated to the outside. In this case, the heat is no longer generated inside the room. Only the noise from the compressor is heard in the laboratory, but attempts are made to minimise this as much as possible by using sound insulation.
Split solution 2
External cooling unit
With this variant, a complete refrigeration unit is mounted on the outside. This means that a smaller housing can be used and noise and heat pollution are no longer a problem in the laboratory. As with the first version, the housing is fitted with sound insulation.
Split solution 3
Outdoor installation of the entire cooler
This solution is an outdoor installation for the entire radiator. Care must be taken here to ensure that an antifreeze agent (e.g. glycol) is used to guarantee frost protection. It is possible to install a cooler freely outside. In this case, a rain cover is fitted to the housing if there is no roofed installation option.
With outdoor installation, all noise takes place outside the laboratory. Depending on the application, a suitable chiller is configured for you. There are applications that must not be operated with antifreeze as a coolant. We offer customised solutions for these cases. Talk to us!
